Media + Broadcast Coordinator

Some ministry happens from the stage. Some happens behind the screens.
FBC Lawton is looking for a skilled, dependable Media + Broadcast Coordinator to help bring worship to life in the room and beyond it through audio, video, livestreaming, and production.
If you love technology, thrive behind the scenes, and want to use your skills for something that matters, there may be a seat in the booth for you.

What You’ll Do
  • ️Lead live production for Sunday services and special events, including audio, video, cameras, lighting, and livestreaming.
  • Direct the broadcast experience, switching cameras and managing live video to create a polished, engaging stream.
  • Operate production technology including Blackmagic systems, ProPresenter, streaming software, and other media tools.
  • Create and edit media for worship services, ministry events, and special projects.
  • Build and equip the team by recruiting, training, scheduling, and encouraging media volunteers.
  • Keep production running smoothly by maintaining equipment, managing updates, troubleshooting issues, and preparing systems for services.

What We’re Looking For
  • Hands-on production experience with live audio, video, cameras, livestreaming, or similar environments.
  • Comfort with production technology, including Blackmagic systems, ProPresenter, video editing, and streaming software.
  • A confident problem-solver who can troubleshoot technical issues and stay calm when something decides to misbehave five minutes before service.
  • A team-minded leader who can train, encourage, and work alongside volunteers with a range of experience levels.
  • An eye for excellence and detail, with the ability to create a polished experience without losing sight of the people it serves.
  • A heart for ministry, as a professing Christian who understands that behind-the-scenes work can have a very real Gospel impact.

The Details
  • Location: First Baptist Church Lawton | Lawton/Fort Sill, Oklahoma
  • Status: Part-Time | Approximately 18–22 hours per week
  • Sundays: 8:30 AM–12:30 PM required
  • Office Hours: At least three days per week, scheduled in coordination with the Worship Pastor
  • Special Events: Some weekday and Saturday availability is needed for weddings, funerals, conferences, and other events
  • Reports To: Worship Pastor, with additional media and strategic project support for the Lead Pastor

Why This Role Matters
Great production isn’t about putting on a show. It’s about removing distractions, creating connection, and helping people engage with the Gospel.
Whether someone is worshiping in the room, watching from home, or discovering FBC online for the first time, the Media + Broadcast Coordinator helps make that connection possible.

This role also invests in the people behind the equipment by building, training, and encouraging a volunteer team that serves with excellence, growth, and grace.

The work may happen behind the scenes, but its impact reaches far beyond them.
