Upward Basketball is a ministry designed to use basketball to teach each child about SALVATION, CHARACTER, and SELF-ESTEEM as they learn the skills of the game of basketball.
The goal of First Baptist Church’s Recreation Ministry is not to merely provide a place to learn a sport, increase our fitness, fellowship with other believers, or win a prize that will fade away. Instead, it is to win individuals and families to Christ through the ministry of recreation.
