Letters To The Church - Sardis

Summary: When all the facts were finally in Jim Snodgrass was alive after all. The Veterans Affairs Medical Center of OKC reported that he had died if a heart attack. He had checked himself in the hospital for ulcer problems and had undergone tests. As the family was in the midst of making funeral arrangements, and family was beginning their journeys from distant places, the hospital called and said they had made a mistake. Another patient with the same last name and same middle initial had died. Mix-up was not detected until the funeral director came to pick-up the body and discovered the first names did not match. Mistaken for dead, Jim Snodgrass was alive after all. Sometimes this happens to churches. Word gets out – that church is dead, but not so. It was true with this church in Sardis.
