How's Your Progress Report?

Summary: How do you feel about progress reports? The teacher was working with a small group of 4th grade students creating word lists for their writers’ notebooks. One list was titled “Scary October Words”. The teacher, thinking Halloween, asked a student to give a scary word to write on the list to which the child replied, “progress report!” Everyone gets a progress report from time to time – maybe not formal, but nevertheless, official. It is an update, a status report, a measurement of goals and objectives. Job, School, Relationships, Marriage, Family, etc. No surprise that the church would also get a progress report, an update. I may not have many Sundays left so let me give you a progress report – or at least a progress form for you to complete – a self-evaluation.
