Summer Mission Opportunities

FBC Student Ministry love to place students in mission opportunities that take them outside of their comfort zone to explore the gift, talents and abilities that God has given them.  We offer both local, national, and international opportunities to serve God and serve others in varied experiences.  We alternate year to year from large mission trips to working along side Fuge Camps - Lifeway sponsored camps and mission opportunities.  We believe that students can see God's hand at work in their lives as they minister in His name.  We hope and pray that many will find God's calling in their life on mission.  Some of the locations where we have ministered in the most recent years are:
New Orleans, LA to work along side MIssionLab on the campus of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary
Jackson, MS to work along side MFuge on the campus of Mississippi College
Juarez, Mexico to work along side Casa por Cristo to build homes in Juarez
St. Louis, MO to work along side MFuge on to do community outreach, child care and construction
Washington, DC to work with a local church to staff a Sports Camp and an inner city ministry called Kids Konnection
Panajchel, Guatemala to work along side a medical/dental ministry to build a preschool building for parenting classes
Honduras to work along side a medical/dental ministry
Thessaloniki, Greece to work along side Sports Quest Ministries to run sports camps prior to the Olympics 2004
Many of our students have been participants in Falls Creek iGoGlobal missions trips to Ireland, London, and Germany
