If you said, “Speaking in tongues” you were wrong. If you said, “The future” you were right! Nothing is so intriguing to Christians as to the circumstances surrounding the second coming of Jesus. It is Tuesday of the last week of Jesus’ public ministry. He has spent the early part of the day answering questions in Jerusalem. Now, late in the day, Jesus and His disciples are on their way back to Bethany. Jesus had ended His Q&A session in Jerusalem with a series of “Woe unto yous” in Matthew 23 and then left them wit the words recorded in Matthew 23:37-39 – “desolate” That word set the stage for some Tuesday Teachings on the Future.
