Children's Ministry

Every parent's desire is to see their children happy, confident, and successful in life.  Parents long for children to be strong mentally, physically, and socially.  But children also have another side to their development.  That is their spiritual side.  Children are most ready to hear and receive God's truths within the first ten years of their life.  They develop ideas during this time about who God is, His character, and His truths that will change very little as they become adults.  That is why it is so critical to make sure they are introduced to God at an early age, that they learn to discern right from wrong according to God's word and that they learn how to make a difference in the world in which they live using abilities God has given to them.   

At First Baptist, we partner with parents to help guide children to discover God in their time and in their own unique ways.  The caring staff and volunteers of KidVenture work hard to create a loving, safe environment where children can come to know Christ, love Him, and serve Him. Life change happens through high energy classes, hands on learning activities, and meaningful relationships for children from birth through 5th grade.  

The love and guidance they receive through Christian leaders will be a strong foundation for them in the future as they live in a world that is not always fair.  We encourage you to take a few moments and explore the opportunities available for your children and family.
