Making Disciples -FBC'S Main Mission

When you plan a vacation, you know your destination before leaving home but you may have a choice of routes leading you there.  First Baptist Church, Lawton, can be described as a "family on a journey."  The destination is "making disciples."  The routes involve WORSHIPING, FOLLOWING AND SERVING. 

Through a diversity of styles, we lift a unified expression of praise and thanksiving to God as we WORSHIP.  We FOLLOW the teachings of Jesus by studying and applying Biblical truths to our lives individually and as a church.  SERVING allows us to be the hands and feet of Jesus by reaching our community and world with the difference a personal relationship with Christ can make in a person's life. 

If you are looking for a perfect church, First Baptist is not for you.  But, if you are looking for a place where you can come to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, follow and serve Him, this is the place for you.  You will be warmly welcomed into a church family  where you will be accepted, loved, and encouraged in the journey of becoming more like Jesus.
