Vacation Bible School

VBS is a week long event that allows children to combine music, Bible study, and unique art experiences to deepen their faith and understanding of God. Each year presents a new and exciting theme to guide us on our quest to know God better. Open to children three years of age and up, June 6-10, 2011, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Think about Times Square on New Years Eve, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, or almost any hour of any day in New York City.  Do you imagine masses of people strolling, rushing, walking, or running through their daily lives?  Yet amid all the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple, the Creator of the Universe knows each and every person intimately.  Not only does God know each person, His greatest desire is to connect each person with His Son, Jesus Christ. 

In our world of instant connections and constant communications, what an awesome opportunity we have to help kids know that God wants them to encounter Jesus and experience a life-changing connection with Him.  During this week, children will learn to connect with faith, connect with love, connect with trust, connect with others, and most of all to connect with life.  They will learn that living a life of faith means sharing the message of Christ with their world, just like the people in the Bible stories we will study each day did. Romans 10:17 says, "Faith comes by hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ."

Come join us on the adventure!  There's so many places to go, so many things to see, and so much to do, you don't want to miss it! 

VBS begins at 9:00 and ends at Noon (June 6-10, 2011).

Preschool children begin their morning in the gym.

Elementary children will begin and end their day in the worship center in the main building.
