Summer Days 2012
Hey Parents, Let your kids join us for Summer Days!
We have a great schedule lined up, full of fun, creativity, and awesome Bible study. This year our theme is Metamorphosis. Our bible verse for the summer is found in Romans 12:2. "Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you wiill know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect His Will really is."
Looking at the book of Proverbs, children will learn each day how to change their attitudes and relationships, the way they talk, and the way they work to become more like Jesus. Of course, the ultimate metamorphosis for your child will be when they experience a personal relationship with Jesus.
Our desire is that your child will begin that journey with us this summer or if they have already committed themselves to living Jesus' way they can find renewed strength for their continued journey! Of course part of Summer Days is the fun of making new relationships and friendships. As the kids spend time together in recreation, small crafts, and groups, they will discover more about each other and what it means to call someone friend!
What would Summer Days be without the featured daily trips? Each day your children will experience different off-site activities in various locations around Lawton. As a parent, you are more than welcome to come along on any of our outings as a sponsor.
We are going to have a great summer and cam't wait to see what God does in the lives of your boys and girls as they metamorphosize before our very eyes!
Summer Days meets each Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., starting June 12 through July 5.
Children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade are eligible to attend.
Important Info
Location: FBC Gymnasium
Cost: $132.00 per child if paid in full (includes trip days). If paying by the day: $15 per day per child (trip days $20 per day per child)
Time: 9:00 - 5:00, We begin accepting children at 8:45
Ages: Children who have completed K - 5th grade
What To Bring: Sack lunch every day, drinks will be provided. Swimsuit and towel on swim day. Children shoul wear casual, comfortable clothing and tennis shoes each day.
Method Of Payment: Money is due when you drop poff your child. you may pay by check (payable to FBC Lawton) or cash.
Medications: All medications must be checked in at the Summer Days registration table. A medical waiver/release must be signed before the medication can be acceped and administered by the staff directors.
Medical Release Forms: A medical release form must be on file for every child attending Summer Days. Turn this in on your first day of attendance.
